BPA free???

What exactly is the deal with BPA? This is the question that many new mothers and experienced one's alike have been asking themselves recently.

BPA is a hormone-disrupting chemical considered to be potentially harmful to human health and the environment. It has been known that scratched and worn polycarbonate feeding bottles will leach this chemical into liquids.

Now, what does that mean to us mothers? Well, since this new study, many of the manufacturers of baby bottles have began making their bottles BPA free. Researchers said, in a study conducted last year, that this chemical can eventually lead to prostate cancer and breast cancer. Manufacturers of Bottles that use the chemical BPA argue that low dosage of this chemical is safe, and not potentially harmful.

BPA free bottles, like the ones shown in the picture, can be a bit pricier than regular bottles. Most mothers would agree that it is worth the extra cash to prevent a potemtial health risk.
